Coop Himmelb(l)au: The cloud builders

The issue mainly consists of three major chapters, Point of Departure, which includes early programmatic texts, artistic experiments, and commentary articles by renowned critics; Subject Footprints, which includes a magnificent selection of architectural projects in chronological order; and Open End, which shares a small proportion of COOP HIMMELB(L)AU’S exciting ongoing research, and a peek into their vision of the future. The American Poet Emily Dickenson once said, ​“Tell the truth but tell it slant.” So, on top of that, we also introduced an index system at the top of the pages, roughly categorizing the projects, and a mind map in gatefold presenting the tangled interconnections between the selected programmatic texts, artistic experiments, and architectural projects.
